bother you when someone you do something nice for does not say thank you ?

Heavens yes,like when I hold the door when sum 1 walks in and they don't say thank U ! I usually am a smart ass and say;"Your Welcome" ! That usually gets a rise out of em ! People can be so rude! "Thank U"

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends what it is and how often I am doing something for them. If I am constanly doing things for someone and they never aknowledge it, it will begin to bother me, yes.
And I appreciate those who are gracious more often than those who are not, most definitely.

Well, I usually do "nice" things because I want to, not to receive thanks for doing them; however, good manners (please & thank you) are always appreciated.

yes though I must admit it happens to me quite a bit so I have started to be shocked when I actually do get a thank you.

Oh yes...it bugs the crap out of me. I have held doors open for people and they will look at me, walk through, and then nothing! No thank you...no head nod.

I sometimes am irked enough that I'll smart back with, "You're welcome. "

It's nice to get a thank you. But it doesn't bother me that much, since I'm doing a nice thing not to get a thank you, but because I want to do a nice thing.

Not really. If I do something nice for someone else, I usually do get a thank you. If I don't get a thank you, I just keep doing whatever I'm doing. I don't do nice things to get a thank you. I do them because I want to





I personally always say thank you though

As silly as it sounds, I always try to think along the moral high ground, as in WWJD.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I try to do things without expecting something back but I'm a hypocrite. I do get miffed if the person doesn't thank me. It rarely happens though.

When they say "Thanks, but I'm still not going to sleep with you", THAT bothers me ...coulda told me that before, yanno...

depending on what it is but for the most part, no.

I will say, if others around me are being aknowledged and I'm not, I do tend to take it personally. Maybe I'm not as kind as I thought, maybe I'm not doing a good job, etc.
