Thats exactly how I feel when I talk to my sisters...all three of them are older than me (the youngest is 4 years older) and even though we're all over 40 AND I have the oldest kids AND I've been out of my dad's house since I was 17, they STILL talk to me like I'm a little kid.....

I'm the baby of the family (2 older sisters) & sometimes I do feel like they forget I'm not a child anymore, just some of the things they say. I actually have to ask, "Umm, do you think I'm retarded or something??"

But they're usually cool & don't baby me, I hate that shit.

My (younger) sister accuses me of treating her like that sometimes but I don't think I do. In my opinion she's just being paranoid and reads too much into what I say.

My oldest brother 10 years older than i doesn't speak to me because he doesn't approve of my "lifestyle"
My older sister 8 years older i've only met once... not much of a relationship

both of them are from my dad's first marraige. my brother lived with us my sister lived with her mother.

my older brother 18 months older than i, i treat him like he's younger than me because he still lives with mom and dad.

My older sister, she's 3 years older than me, constantly talks down to me and talks to me as if I was a child. She and I have never been close and I rarely speak to her. I've kind of given up on trying to have any kind of relationship with her

I don't really talk about her. My younger sister is my best friend and my older sister and me have always clashed. She and I are complete opposites and she's kind of a cold person and she can be difficult to get along with. She and I have fought so much that I just avoid talking to her now. It makes me a bit sad that I have this great relationship with my younger sister and such a bad one with my older one, but I can't really do anything about it. I've tried to get along with her and work out our differences, but she just doesn't seem to want to do that,so I've just stopped trying.
