"Do You Care?" There is a semi-shock jock out in L.A. called Tom Leykus who says that to ANYONE who asks...."How Are You"?
Do you really care when you ask or are you just being cordial most of the time? Cordial here.... The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

i genuinely care when i ask
if i didn't care i wouldn't ask... but i think people generally think that it's just apart of conversation, so they never really let you know how they are.. [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]

I usually "think" you don't care why are you asking depending on the person. But im usually cordial. clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! Im deep quote- song lyric about my ex cause that bitch stole my mp3 player! - line from movie I liked - Prince lyric - not very clever sig mocking other sigs

I care when I ask. But I always get the same answer "I'm fine. Thankyou" "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Depends on the context it's being said in. If it's just Hi, how are you? as in greeting, then obviously it's cordial. If I'm having a geniune conversation with someone and I do ask then I mean it. I'd like to say I would never ask but it's a habit that usually attached to a generalized greeting.

Most cordial.
But one thing that I learned is that a polite cordial smile works wonders in some people's days. I remember once, it was my birthday, and I just decided I was going to smile at everyone I met today, regardless of who there were or if I knew them. I got some of the most surprising smiles back from at least 1/3 of the folks I did it to. It was a nice day.

Do you really care when you ask or are you just being cordial most of the time? Cordial here.... I think it's just a cordial thing to say when it comes to strangers. Next time some one asks you how are you just say you got really bad gas.

Do you really care when you ask or are you just being cordial most of the time? Cordial here.... Leykus used to be on here (he's syndicated). My personal belief is that everyone is just being cordial and that we don't care about anything unless it ultimately involves making us feel good. But that's just me. P.S. I'm a big Dex fan; he always poses provocative questions. Then again, I'm only saying this because his provocative questions and their threads make me feel good.
