What a great day it is! I just found a snicker bar from Halloween that rolled under my desk at work! yay! That is a sign of good luck you know...and that our nightly cleaning crew sucks ass.... 
Anyway...how is everyone's day? I am dying of lack of sleep and feel pretty miserable. My coworkers have told me to go home, but I'll feel stupid if I do as it's my own fault, and what will it look like to my boss if I can't keep up with my regular job because of my second job? |

Hmm...Well there are several options here...I call this the "Robbie Williams" option...drink tons of caffine energy drinks and power through work like some super hamster on speed. option 2...eat candy all day long...ride the sugar rush so you don't ever come down.. and the last option...find a second job that lets you relax more. Thanks for the ideas and concerns, guys.
I've had a cup of coffee and a tea this morning. I'm super caffeine sensitive, though, and now my face is all red and hot, it's not agreeing with my tummy and I'm sporadically dizzy.
The job itself has been fun. I'm not meeting many people other than my coworkers, but many of them are super cool and work was actually a lot of fun the last few times I went in.. I'm just not used to several days in a row with only 5-6 hours of sleep. My body doesn't like it and I start to get anti-social cause I'm honestly drained from the social interaction. I'm used to having lots of alone "me" time and that's hard to come by now. I'll adjust. It'll just take some time. |
