healthy treats

ok ... next tuesday my twins have they birthday. The school has a strict policy on birthday treats, restricting us to healthy stuff only, which is good but leaves me without inspiration pout

Help me out ... I need some fun and healthy stuff to give to their classmates

thanks biggrin

If you have a COSTCO around, you could probably get a big ass wad of Duct tape for about $3! lol

Can't you just bake something for them? I know it sounds rather old-fashioned, but nothing tops self-made pastry.

Oh well, i'm sure the cost would be worth it when you tie all those little suckers to their colorful chairs and duct tape their mouth's shut! woot!

That ain't healthy lol

Neither is that ant log LOL. Considering there is sugar even in bread, adding to healthy snacks really just cancels out anything healthy about it in the first place lol

nod

Peanut butter provides protection against cardiovascular disease due to high levels of monounsaturated fats and Resveratrol, though butter prepared with the skin of the peanuts has a greater level of resveratrol and other health-aiding agents.[17] An excellent source of protein, and vitamins B3 and E, peanuts also contain magnesium, folate, dietary fiber and arginine.[18]

Peanuts also contain high levels of an antioxidant called p-coumaric acid.

I know peanuts are. But I'll take ur word for peanut butter. I know it ain't considered "healthy" though. Its no doubt nutritious, which is a plus.

With all this peanut & peanut butter talk, you might want to make sure there is no one with peanut allergies. That seems to be a common thing nowadays.
