It's totally unfair that so many dudes have GREAT lashes & many women get stuck w/ short ones My neices lashes are TO DIE FOR, she got lucky. When she puts on mascara they look borderline fake but wonderful, they're just so damn long & full

I have falsies but I can't be bothered to wear them...I don't think I need them anyway...but they are fun to wear when you are going all out, and really dressing up. Same. I have several different pair, even. A few fairly normal ones, some with rhinestones in them, some with beads on the tip of each lash, etc. But I rarely wear them, it's a couple time of year kinda thing. And they're annoying to get on right but once I have them on, ooh la la! I'm batting those babies with the best of them! I LOVE how false eyelashes make me feel. Probably cause my natural lashes are fairly average. |

I wear fake lashes all the time, just on the corners. I buy the 101's and cut them in half. I looooove them. I don't need the length but they look so much fuller and I've been complimented many times for my "long full lashes" (I don't' tell anyone they're fake ). [Edited 12/11/07 6:42am]

Alright, you two & CarrieLee have inspired me - I'm gonna wear some on New Years Eve Now I just have to find something to DO on New Years Eve I find them much easier to put on if you just use half of the false lash on the corners of your eyes. I get aggravated with the full length lashes because they are harder to put on and they just feel awkward. So if you're not having any luck, cut them in half and just use mascara on the inner part. You can tell in this picture that the falsies are on the corners...I've gotten much better since then!

I have a few pair I got free from MAC years ago, but I never wore them b/c I couldn't get them on right & they looked insane I wanna be on the Oprah side of it, not the Tammi Faye side I'll practice before New Years so I can get it right

That is my SHIT Hmm I'll have to try it. I buy the blackout from Dior...it's 25 bucks a tube and really doesn't last that long. Maybeline's full and soft really works well for fullness. I'll have to try this though.

I'll have to try this though. I've wanted to try Dior forever but I just can't bring myself to drop the $25, I'm cheap as hell! But try the regular XXL if you can find it, not the "intense": I remember trying the intense & finding that the regular worked much better, my bad for posting the wrong pic initially (I had to go look @ mine )... I came home with about 10 different shadows, a few powders, blushes, lip liners and glosses!! Probably about 200 bucks or more in makeup!

I usually only war it to go out because it's too sticky for school or work. After I first got it, I wore it to the vet clinic where I worked at the time and I had to wipe it off after about 15mins...too much animal hair getting stuck to my lips! Anyway, I can never find a mascara that makes my eyes pop so I'm considering trying MAC for that as well.

The mascara is not all that expensive I think I paid $9-$11 for that one, or is that too much??? Rhythm floods my heart♥The melody it feeds my soul

Me too. I wear mascara all the time as I'm very fair, but I don't need fake lashes. As long as I have my mascara, I'm good to go.

it's weird when you get a good mascara and suddenly your lashes are hitting the inside of your sunglasses all the time *blink* *blink*
we don't get neutrogena makeup up here so am excited to try out the tube i bought while i was in arizona. so far lovely and long with no clumps like my old l'oreal stuff! i wear false lashes for halloween but this year i overglued. i swear my lids hurt for two days after taking those suckers off. will have to try carrie's half lash thingy... what is your order of makeup then? mascara on real lashes before applying false ones? i hate how the false ones look if they get mascara on them.

I do my powder and shadows then do the 1/2 fake lashes. Line them with liquid eyeliner and then put mascara on the lashes that don't have the falsies on them. If I have a good mascara and put enough on I can blend them in with the fake ones. It takes practice but I love the way it looks. And I use them over and over...just peel off the glue and you're good to go. Just don't fall asleep with them on cuz they'll be all crooked when you wake up!
