Now I have to go thru my freezer and dump all the food that defrosted, and check the food in the fridge.
I am just happy I have power again. I just hope OE&G can get power on for the rest of Oklahoma. The news said it could be up to 10 days that some places are with out power.

 I'm happy and relieved....I experienced an ice storm when I was stationed in upstate NY in 1998.....being from the deep DEEP south, I'd never gone through anything remotely that bad, so I feel your pain...
so go thaw them tootsies out lady....hope you and your fam and your neighbors make it through ok... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

I remember last winter it was in the single digits and I had to walk from my apartment to school, which was about a 20 minute walk, because there was no parking and those cold ass temps were nothing to me. Now, if it's that cold and windy, then I have a hard time. When living in New York, you just have to try to get used to the extreme changes in temperature with each season. You'd hate being over here | |
