just got word from MoniGram ... she's been out since 3am cuz of a huge icestorm that took power down ...

Power is still out..Moni had to turn her phone OFF

She wants us all to send her warmth and SWEATERS LOL

Hopefully power will be on soon...poor Moni and all in Oklahoma

Hello everyone! What can I say, thank you for all your warm wishes, and I never once thought about getting drunk Roodboi! Damn!

But power finally came on about an hour ago, and lets say, I am doing a happy dance! There are still many with out power, like my eldest daughter Christina, but thank God she is with her friend Ashley who does have power.

It was a long night, of sitting by the fire and talking in the candle light. We did manage to watch one movie on the lap top before it died. But finally around 10am my time the heater came back on.

Now I have to go thru my freezer and dump all the food that defrosted, and check the food in the fridge.

I am just happy I have power again. I just hope OE&G can get power on for the rest of Oklahoma. The news said it could be up to 10 days that some places are with out power.

Thanks again everyone..and thanks One4All4Ever for starting this thread.

Glad your power is back. A couple of months ago we lost our power for a couple of days, you don't realize how much we depend on it til it's gone.

It's finally warm in the house. It was awful in the back rooms etc...a fire can only heat so much of your home. But we are much better, and freezing rain has stopped! It's just regular rain now.

I wish I would have been in California last night.

It has been going down to the mid 30's at night, I know that is nothing to you all, but it is freeeezing to me!!
