Flea Market Scammers! I was scammed left and right, and taken advantage of by skillful scammers at the flea market! Before I could take things out of the boxes, people were already rummaging through the boxes and grabbing thinks like mad.
In one box, I didn't even know what I had in it in the first place and when I saw what was in there I almost flipped. There was a jewelry box with all my jewelry in it and people had fast hands just taking several rings. Even when I said that I wasn't selling that, they just hung on to it. There was this one man who kept asking me to drop the price on a brand new Tupperware bowl set, I already set the price at $5 but he wanted $3, so I gave in. He kept cruzing on by and he said that the other thing he brought the price down for, he sold it double. So he not only scammed me, he was making me feel bad thinking that he would sell it double after he drilled me down for a lower price. I must have sold (or lost) quite a bit because I left with 4 less boxes than what I came with, although I only made $31. I really don't care, but just the feeling of people ripping me off and taking advantage of me really ticked me off! Don't you just hate it when people are so dishonest and criminalistic?

I was gonna donate some of my things to Goodwill but they couldn't take toys. People will steal things, but they wouldn't take it if you gave it free. That's a bit ironic.

Well, I think this expose of the Flea Market Scam is pretty profound. I guess people will get their hustle on any which way they can especially at some a wholesome Americana event.

Well, I think this expose of the Flea Market Scam is pretty profound. I guess people will get their hustle on any which way they can especially at some a wholesome Americana event. I think they know who can be easily scammed too, and they know how to take advantage if you're alone. And since they know they are not dealing with a professional retailier, they work their game well. They use the confusion and distractions to their advantage. One person I think he slipped something away when I was busy with someone else, but I didn't want to accuse since I didn't know for sure that's what he did. One person was so persistent that she wanted to buy some of my rings even though I said I wasn't selling, that I gave in to her and let her buy several rings. She even drilled me down for a deal. People take advantage of me like that sometimes. I'm a wimp! Whatevaz!

If my brother was there that would have worked, and he would have loved it! He would've fit that description and he would be cracking up with all the responses he got, (*but my baby brother passed away).

But I have to smile when I think of those moments and the picture of Nick Cage's son reminded me of him.
