I saw a trailer for this when I saw Beowulf...I actually said, out loud "Holy Fuck". I wanna see it so bad.

I love the trailer for this. It looks like "Blairzilla." I just hope it isn't all shakey-cam, though, or I'm gonna be pissed. Plus, there's a rumor circulating that you never actually see the 'zilla, and THAT would REALLY piss me off.

whatever it is, it's a big dumb splashy hollywood movie where something scary goes stomping around a big city smashing things and blowing things up, and my butt will be in a seat watching it.

Two theories I'm hoping might be correct:

1) Something based on H.P. Lovecraft lore. (Although I rather dislike Lovecraft himself)

2) Something based on Jewish lore around Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz, primordial land, sea and air monsters, respectively.

...Something half-way literate would be fun.
