Narnia makes LOTR look like Star Wars.

I was surprised by the first film. I don't think it could have been any better.
Unless the White Witch's hair had been black. Those ginger dreadlocks just weren't working for me. Tilda Swinton is creepy, though, so she was great.

they took their time with this, you woulda thought that with the amount of books they would be releasing the movies every 1 or 2 years like they are with the Harry Pothead movies...but i suppose it really all depended on how the 1st one went really

i don't know if disney created The Definitive Narnia, but they did a pretty damn fine job - much better than the animated and BBC puppet versions (though i like both of those versions as well). i think it could have had a more distinctive, fairytale look but the end result was impressive enough in its own way.
