but at the same time they don't even know the difference between "vegetarian" and "vegan". :

Don't feel bad. As a strictly dickly female, I didn't know the difference, until my brother, a vegetarian for 30 years told me the deal. Pretty much, he's been a vegetarian most of his life and he has me on the kick.

it just makes me crazy when someone says "i want to be a vegetarian but i don't want to give up milk or eggs." or when i tell someone i'm a vegetarian, someone will say "wow, so what CAN you eat?" nuts

he actually has a very good point, which was taken out of context by some idiot, maybe his terminology was incorrect, simply replace terrorist with extremist wink

how am i an extremist for maintaining a discipline to a certain part of my life, based on what i personally believe to be ethically and spiritually correct? i'm not a member of PETA. i don't squirt catsup on people who wear fur coats. i don't even moo at people when they eat hamburgers in front of me. my convictions are MINE. i'm not doing anything to intrude on others. so how dare people throw labels at me like "terrorist" and "extremist", which i find to be especially intrusive...and OFFENSIVE.

I love him because he's a crazy fool, I don't think I'd want to be in the same room with him for more than a half hour. lol

i dont think that he was refering to you personally, but more to the fact that the veggie thing has got out of control, and he is responding to being labelled which he finds offensive, as do you or not?
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

see, the thing that frustrates me is that people think if you don't agree with PETA's politics, then you aren't interested in the ethical treatment of animals. which i very much AM, but i am not at all impressed with PETA's methods and i think there are much better ways to advocate and raise consciousness. i also hate it that when most people hear me say the "V" word, they automatically think i'm a card carrying PETA hag. ya can't win! lol
