I cannot believe that I am about to admit this, because after all - I am all man, so driving is something I assume I am a professional at.

But my driving performance has deteriorated noticably the last three years or so.

And it's due to lack of concentration, which scares me. I take too much for granted on the road.

I drive...but I don't drive on highways.

My mom is like that, she hates highways and will not drive on them. Even if she is on a highway in a car and someone else is driving, she's nervous. I'm not sure why she has that fear, but she's always been that way, for some reason.

im the same going over "the bridge"

5 lanes, that sweep on a curve.....and no divider to separate the on coming traffic shake boxed

but only in cars.....im fine on the bus... shrug
seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

True enough. lol

That's the only reason why I don't drive much. If I could afford a car I'd be driving every day and would probably get really fat in the process. It'd be worth it though since it's really fun and convenient. Lots of possibilities open up that would not have existed without a car.

Let's let Prince take over on this one: Style is letting your lover drive while you talk on the phone and chill. In other words, sit back and enjoy the ride, fella. thumbs up!

Pffft. I don't care what he says, that's just fucked up disbelief

Maybe he can pull that off, but what about us mortal men???

I don't see what the big deal is. Whatsamatta, you afraid somebody'll think you're less of a man for letting the lady drive? falloff

I have to admit the convenience would be a big selling point for me. It'd be really nice somedays not to have to wait for the bus, or be able to get up and go on a road trip in the middle of the night, or even just across town to the good convenience store that has fried chicken. drool But in the grand scheme, I'd still rather be a walker.

MEEE!
I actually started lessons again today for the millionth time!(automatic for one less worry).
It took me over a month justto book up,I bit my lip the whole lesson, its still sore now, also the tension pain in my back hasnt quite gone yet.

I guess I did ok really, traffic lights, roundabouts, all the busy main roads at about 15mph lol
I have an appointment with one of the famous hypnos later this week to see if he can help me. Anyway fingers crossed
Without restraint, thereā€™d be no hesitation!

I am 23, and only just learning now. I never learnt before 'cause I couldn't afford it, and lived in the city. Now I still live in the city, but work in construction management, all over the country, and the simple fact is the buildings don't come to you, you go to the buildings: it's a necessity nod

I love it mr.green Can't wait to be driving!

hug I think with my mom, the fear is because people driving on the highways are traveling at a high speed, and tend to change lanes rather hastily. Bridges can be nerve-wracking too.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

the crippling cost of petrol makes me want to walk instead. I would like a certain orger to come and wash my car, without his shirt on. Not that my car is dirty, but he would look really good all lathered up all over my bonnet drool
