Like you knew there was a basket case trilogy lol . Personally I love the back to the future trilogy. I love how light those movies are and how you can watch them anytime.

Anyway.

actually, i *DID* know there was a basket case trilogy, and i sat through the whole damn thing because i heard that casey (the sassy black lady from the first movie with the smiley face fetish) made cameo appearances in the other two movies, and i love her.

actually, i love the first "basket case". it's perfect over-the-top campy schlock. the acting is deliciously bad, the production quality is beautifully no-budget, it's everything i love in a bad movie. unfortunately, the sequels tried really hard to imitate what made the first movie fun, and you can't fake genuine schlock. it just comes out looking cheesy and boring.

Yes, bad movies are alot of fun. "Plughead 2" being one of a few I watch because its so bad. I dont even know about the first "plughead" movie, but the title had me hooked.

LOTR for sure. It had so much....how shall I say it... heart. I think its sincerity really did it for me. It was meaningful. Some of the ideas in the movies have changed my life, and my way of thinking. Its just amazing.

I notice "LOTR" is more of a geeky thing with people around my age. Books are kinda slow (first book is a yawnfest), but the movies dont suffer from that problem at least.

Fuck "the hobbit" aswell. That was slow and pretty uninteresting.

I mean I enjoyed LOTR (all 3!) but they aren't the types of movies I can see myself watching more than once...where as I could watch any of the Star Wars anytime heart
If you will, so will I
