Mine Pies! Tis indeed the season for mince pies. Quite an acquired taste though aren't they? I've never enjoyed them befor ebut I had a delicious one this morning. Do you like them? Do you have a secret recipe for making them? There's Joy In Expatriation.

To me those revoulting Fruit Mice pies go hand in hand with the Christmas Cake in the tin that has been passed around in the family since Great Great Grandma made it back around the 17 or 1800s [Edited 12/4/07 5:23am] PRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

I made some on Saturday (2 trays full) They came out of the oven around 3pm. On Monday at 5pm along with a cup of tea the last one was consumed. I think Jon had about 10 the first day
Am going to make some when he is at work and stick them in the freezer
