potato and leek soup! except I don't have a recipe I just steam about a kilo of peeled and cut up potatoes until soft, then mash up with a little water (do it by hand so the potatoes don't go gluey). Heat a little oil, some chopped garlic, one sliced leek, one chopped stem of celery. When all these are soft I pour in a litre of water with a couple of veg. stockcubes. Bring to a simmer and then blend it all smooth, add the mashed potatoes, and if they aren't smooth enough, blend it a bit more. Season with salf and pepper or whatever else you like. If you like jerusalem artichokes, substitute the potatoes with an equal amount of jerusalem artichokes

Do you eat seafood at all?
How about lobster base for a soup? Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

what about if you mix leeks and carrots into quinoa in vegetable broth? i don't know if it would be the prettiest meal in the world, but it's probably one of the healthiest things you could eat.

im not to into the aesthetics of food, food to me is how it taste, hence the reason i dont like french food...it has to be like a painting on the plate, im like into taste, spices, etc.. hence the reason why i like indian and vietnamese food! but this recipe sounds good as well, i could try after i try the other one..i bought alot of leeks from the asian market, mother thinks i'm a tad kooky, but leeks are so good!!

Why do you not eat meat?! I'm so sorry for you. Have you tried Meditteranean fish soup which has leeks in it? It's delicious. I will try and find the recipe for you but it's quite simple. Serve it with a nice, hot crusty baguette. There's Joy In Expatriation.
