My follow-up went well, Dr. says I will take 3-5 months to heal completely. I wil be tested again in one year instead of six months since none of the mass nor surrounding tissues was cancerous. She said the mass was the size of a golf ball and a half once she cut through the muscle. Will start arm exercises in two weeks since it is very weak at this point.

Thank you all for the support you have given me!!! I know who my REAL FREINDS are on here!!!

Okay kids back at work today. Sorry I haven't returned any calls BUT I had a mild set back on Sunday-Tuesday. Before my surgery I was in the middle of a root canal, well the tooth is infected an caused me to be very sick a few days. I go back to Dentist tommorrow and nack to the surgeon on Friday.

The good news is the mass WAS NOT CANCER!!!!! I still need time to heal and I am stitched up like the Bride of Frankenstein but so what!!!

I will wear my scar with honor and to educate women of all ages the importance of monthly exams and a yearly mammogram!!!!

My Mother wore her scar for nearly 30 years and she still got play!!! Will let you guys know Friday if physcial therapy is needed or not.

The actual surgery did take a full 90 minutes and I went home around 5:30 pm. The needle biospy was not bad at all once I was numb. I can do this again if I ever had to in my life now that I have experienced it!!!

Of course my hair is now shedding from the general anesthesia but I will deal with that later!!! I just am so re4ady to get back to being me at 100%!!!!!

That is the best news I have heard in a long time!!!!! good for you!! biggrin

I ended up having to cut off about 2 inches of my hair plus gave myself a mild relaxer and deep conditioned it. But it is only hair my health is more important.
