I made a comment, just like everyone else and I don't need to explain it. Someone else said they were going to say the same thing. Every woman has hips and breasts, that doesn't make her curvy or at least what I call curvy. That's my opinion. I wasn't talking "The Hood." I was talking about my neighborhood and I wasn't talking about extremes either

Well then what DOES make someone "curvy" if not her CURVES Jan? confused Fine, you're not talking about "THE hood" - what's so different about the women in your neighborhood then?

I just don't get it. & why is it so hard to explain your comment shrug No, you don't NEED to but it'd be nice if you DID. hammer

Just make it real simple: what do you call "curvy"? smile

that's a little harsh. We get all upset when someone bashes a woman who is ten pounds overweight, but for some reason it's okay to say a thin woman looks nasty & sick?

Paris isn't my type, but she doesn't exactly look like she's starving to death.

Oh give me a breka...really. Most of the time the skinny chicks get NOTHING but love. I don't care if they look close to death.

10 pounds over weight isn't extreme.....

Nicole is extreme...thus to me yeah...nasty and sick.

If Jennifer blew up 70lbs or something...i would go eek to that too.

and to Jan's saying every woman has hips and breasts...ummmm..nope.

My mother didn't have hips AT ALL...lol. She had a little booty and no hips.

Jennifer has curves.

But I guess this is what Jan is talking about:

That's disgusting and technically, your mother had hips. Everyone has hips. Therefore everyone has those basic curves

The bottom line is people seem to think that they have the right to comment, and cruelly I must add, about someone's weight, or lack there of.

Just because someone is in the public eye doesn't mean that hearing/reading all the extremely nasty, very hurtful comments doesn't have a profound effect on them...that it doesn't hurt them. So they're rich, so they're famous, who fucking cares? Shit like this still hurts no matter who you are.

The reason someone like Nicole is so thin is because she has an illness that was most likely brought on by all the comments about her being fat. The same goes for Lindsey Lohan.

It always amazes me how cruel people can be to each other. I've said it time and time again on here. It doesn't matter if it stems from envy or out of genuine concern for someone, whatever the reason - the cruel comments that some people say will always say much more about them then the person they are talking about. That they are cruel and it makes them despicable people in my eyes.

We live in an age where people take no accountability for the things they say.

Yep.
And then you have assholes like me.
I don't give a FUCK.

There's a bunch of people that i don't know,
that i feel like i need to give advice to
because the shit they're doing is DUMB AS HELL.

And since it's the internet,
i assume that no one pays attention
BECAUSE IT'S THE INTERNET
and why would you?

So, ah well.
Paris Hilton does something dumb?
i comment.

Britney Spears does something retarded?
i comment.

Prince goes after his fans?
I COMMENT.

Jennifer Love Hewitt gains a million pounds?
I Comment.

And will continue to do so.....

Really, Erin?
How am i "that stupid"?

Women are "supposed to carry some extra weight in certain areas"?
Is that a fact or an excuse? I don't think there's a health expert in the country THESE days that thinks that?

We are UNHEALTHY. Pick your debate. Are we talking fashion-wise or health-wise? Fashion-wise, you "might" something to debate. Health-wise you don't! Period!!!! Recent studies have proven that even being slightly overweight shortens your life-span.

And really, Erin. Do you feel like "shit"?
Because i wouldn't count myself as an "Org-regular", but even i can see there's LINES of people in here that think you're the bees knees. So pardon me if i don't think you have it THAT bad.

Keep it real, girly.

Let's do keep it real.

A little extra weight on your hips and thighs does NOT make you unhealthy. It does not shorten your lifespan. If you're going to talk about this at least get your facts straight. The extra weight that puts you at risk is called vicseral fat and it only gathers on your belly.

A women with a little meat on her ass and thighs and with "grandma legs" is not risking her health.

And yes, women are naturally carriers of more fat then men, it's in our biology. You can fight it for sure, by starving yourself, working out to an extreme but that doesn't mean that the end result is "natural". The second you stop fighting it, you go back to what your body is supposed to look like.

But you go right ahead and live in your fantasy land.

Dead on.

Don't put words in my mouth! Everyone was saying what a stick she is in PRESENT tense as if she still is to this day. I was simply SHOWING people that while she's FAR from fat or even healthy I guess, she's looking a lot better BECAUSE of pregnancy and is NO LONGER a stick so stop using her as an example. Fuck.

At the end of the day its all wrong on both sides BUT this sudden cry me a river for women who are too thin is really ....odd. The media does nothing BUT promote super thin as ideal and something to be desired and yet its bad for someone to say.....ugh not for me/that looks bad.

When my mom got down to a size 6 and it looked nasty, I said, that is looks nasty. When my ass got too fat, she said, your ass is too fat. shrug

I'm all for fairness. I don't think NATURALLY thin women get a beat down AT ALL.

it's one thing to think that, but to criticize other people's natural body types (not saying that most of the women in the media are naturally that thin lol), is kinda shitty. you'd probably think my little sister's disgustingly thin, but that's just her body type. she has gotten SO much shit her entire life from other girls criticizing her/making fun of how thin she is. why is okay to say someone looks 'nasty' if they're built that way?

First of all, please don't tell me what I would think about anyone.

Secondly, Nicole Richie isn't NATURALLY thin and my mother wasn't either. It didn't look good and wasn't healthy and I told my mother she looked sick and bad.

Thirdly, I think I said its all wrong to criticize anyone but we ALL do you nonetheless. I'll admit to being a little insensitive and apologize for doing so.

Since when in the hell was Lindsay Lohan "EVER" fat? Since when in the hell was Lindsay Lohan "EVER" chubby? When she had first turned the age of eighteen, she was at a pretty desirable thickness range. Not too big. Not too small. Then, six months of that thickness was up when she decided to reduce her breast size and lose weight off of her glutes. A bit too much, quite frankly. Which brings the question back. Since when was the lady "FAT?!!?" Quite frankly, she was nearly the perfect type of "THICK" at one brief time (As mentioned above.). Not to analyze too much, :boxed even though you probably won't catch this damn post, anyhow.....

Dude, that chick was ridiculed on the net for being too fat.

I don't think that it should be. Honestly, if you are so worried about what other people think, then there's something wrong with you, not the person saying things about you.

I'm not saying it should be, but I think it is.

And it depends on who's saying it. If it's your parents saying you're shit, then I think there's something wrong with them, not you.

Personally I love JLH, and there's nothing on her frame in those pics that a decent workout plan couldn't tighten up...I like a woman who looks like she'll throw down a little more than a piece of lettuce and an ice cube if we go out to eat, yerdme?

I totally agree with the self-esteem line, though...regardless of what others may think, how you feel about yourself is always much more important...and if you are strong in your personal assessment, then no one should be able to change that belief...

If you think the average woman (i.e. MOST women) have hourglass figures, you're wrong. I used to think that myself but it ain't so, hourglass figures are "rare" but they're not the total norm either.
