Oh, well that's great, because then you can't blame others for what you feel. And I have the opposite view. I think that people who care about what other people say has something seriously messed up about themselves. shrug

How about the fam and public figures you look up to, which in actuality would affect a lot of people? Maybe not you, if so, then what's the point of having influences like your guardian around you, teaching you this, that, and the third if you could actually just live life as an orphan? I mean, "SOME" people's words are weapons. This is especially true for those that one wouldn't expect to be so tactless around the receiver of such psychological damage. I'm just saying.....

But that's not the subject of this thread. Consider the source at all times, and be strong, not weak. This is about superficial weight on a celebrity. confuse

Jennifer Love Hewitt is not a child with a guardian.

And I used to look up to Prince, now he can seriously fuck off. In fact, I don't look up to anyone anymore, I look up to myself. This is learned through experience. It's really simple logic. Care about yourself, why wouldn't you? If you were abused, and you went to a psychiatrist, they would tell you the same shit I'm saying. ???

You make somewhat of a valid point, But, I don't know, really. Hearing your parents say things that every other bad influence and bully in your life has ever said can kind of fuck a mind up. But, I was only using that as an example because you were saying that "NOBODY'S" opinion matters in your life but your own.

You were saying that feeling bad for yourself when you don't have "ANYONE" to trust or to hold onto and confide in was irrational. So, I had to counter that. If both parents tell you that you aren't going to amount to "ANYTHING", then, it can kind of hold you down. Especially when you see that those same people have faith in less important individuals.

You're the Gemini, anyway. Of course you can phase just about anyone out in your life and trigger that focus onto something and/or someone else. Hell, while you're playing, you probably handle some things the exact same way Prince would. You probably subconsciously hold the same exact logic as he would in social situations. lol That's just a harmless and frivolous assumption, though. But, yeah.....

You're right, the Gemini in me will cut you off cold without any regret if I believe you're not worth the trouble or small amount of patience I can afford. We're not talking about kids here, we're talking about some D-list celebrity. I wouldn't consider myself as mental as Prince, because I'm not as insecure as he is. smile

One thing's for certain. You are kind of snappy. smile Jeniffer Love Hewitt's personal complaints aren't benevolent to the young society and it ain't the end-all-be-all of protests publicated throughout the media. We've already sort of agreed on that. I have no problems with that. It's just that withheld the impression that you were blanketting "ALL" scenarios that I had offered for more sentimental predicaments. I apologize if I steered you wrong. There.....

now move your big ass round this way so i can work on that zipper baby!

I had a look at this thread, as I could not understand why JLH was getting so many posts and i wish now i had not.

The pictures that are been shown in magazines/internet like OK and so on, are basically disgusting in my opinion. Worse than any 2 girls 1 cup shit you will see and regardless of how famous or rich someone is, there is no need for it, but we live in a consumer driven society which sets a demand for it. Alot of people get their kicks out of seeing such stuff, one way or the other, alone the response to this thread will give an indication as to how far things have gone. It is a vicious circle which has a profound effect on insecure people be they fat or skinny. The papparazzi dont give a shit, most important is to get that photo that shows the worst of someone, which later harms someone else, but at the end of the day, it will sell, coz the public cant get enough of it, for most it makes them feel good about themselves, at the expense of others.

That is the society we live in today, search and destroy, regardless of the cost
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

The skeletal make up doesn't necessarily mean a woman will have HIPS. Once the skin, muscle and fat get on the bones...some woman are straight, up and down on the sides (normally referred to as the HIPS).

lawd...are ya'll really serious? lol

I guess we have different definitions of hips, because I've never seen a woman who had no hips.

Neither have I. A hip bone along with the muscle and fat is what creates the hips you see. Some are more visible than others, but everyone has hips. There's no such thing as no hips. The primary function of hips is to support the weight of the body in both static and dynamic postures and for childbirth

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.
For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy, The fucking schizophrenic that won't leave me the fuck alone.
I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings.

Don't put words in my mouth! Everyone was saying what a stick she is in PRESENT tense as if she still is to this day. I was simply SHOWING people that while she's FAR from fat or even healthy I guess, she's looking a lot better BECAUSE of pregnancy and is NO LONGER a stick so stop using her as an example. Fuck.

If I were to put something in your mouth, it wouldn't be "words" lol Maybe a shoe or something hmmm

Let's see if she's a decent weight after the pregnancy, THEN you have yourself an argument. But the pregnancy IS the reason for her current weight, so lets not act like she had a realization & made changes. She's doing it b/c she has to right now...

*sigh*

You JUST don't understand do you?

Ok, lets go through this one more time.

Ready?

I want you to quote me where I said "OMG NICOLE IS AMAZING FOR PUTTING ON WEIGHT! SHE MADE CHANGES AND IS A GOOD PERSON NOW!111"

Go on, quote me!

Since you're so sure I said that.

Cool, but I like to think that I'm as honest as you think you are. I'm not trying to single you out, but I have to say that I am much more secure in who I am and what I am than you seem to be. Maybe it's because I'm older than you are, and it has nothing to do with being superhuman. It's about being realistic, and not beating yourself up for what someone might say about you. I mean, really, who gives a shit what other people think? I certainly don't.

I get tired of reading women's posts when weight comes into play. The massive insecurities shine right through their posts.

I couldn't care less whether Jennifer Love Hewitt is upset. Maybe she should move to Tibet along with Prince is they're so goddamned worried about what people say?

I don't feel singled out or jumped on or even insulted by what you said because I am extremely candid about my issues and have never said anything but the truth about them. I certainly don't pretend to be anything I am not.

It still doesn't take away from the fact that people who revel in making fun others - especially when it simply comes to their looks have something seriously messed up about them.

OH DEAR GOD!!! whofarted shockedduh disbelief

What does that have to do with anything??? All I know is that someone who feels the need to constantly judge, pick apart, or bash other people on something so empty and meaningless as looks is lacking something inside.

It is a general sensitivity thing. I care about other people, am very aware of others feelings, and would NEVER want to make anyone feel bad. You obviously are not cut of that cloth, So you believe that anyone who does not agree with your unabashed cruelty has a personal complex issue. Um.... no. Some people are just not like that. Meaning NOT LIKE YOU.....rolleyes

And don't even sit there and try to tell me that "this is the internet" and thats your excuse for being that way. Its obvious that insensitive, judgemental, and cruel is how you are in real life as well.

Yeah you may not make fun of fat chicks (or anyone who does not measure up to your "standards") to thier face in real life, but no doubt in your mind you have already labeled them and treat them accordingly.

That is seriously messed up and shows exactly what things you find important in life. And THAT is why I agree with what she said.
If the wind blew all the petals from your precious red rose, would you be afraid of what you'd find inside?...
