I have Henna on my hair

Does anyone else use it to add color to their hair ?

Do you add anything special into the mix - like an essential oil or ?

How long do youleave yours on ?

What kind do you use or have you tried ?

I am using some from JFRH's

I henna-ed my hair a couple of times when I was young.

No more, though. These days I'm all about the permanent chemical hues that will probably give me cancer. lol.

I have only heard of Henna tattoos

I henna'd my hair a couple times when I was younger, too. (Neutral henna, not red.) I liked it -- I have very fine, shiny hair, so the henna actually roughed up the cuticle a little and gave me a tad more volume.

OKay I left it on for 1hr - this is what it looks like now

Called my daughter on this stuff..she is a cosmeotologist, and she said this would work great for me, since I never change my hair color.

So now she is doing more research for me, trying to find the best brands.

Henna...thought that was used for genital warts.

Yes my daughter said it would be perfect. She said henna is not good for ones that enjoy changing their hair color since it stains your hair. She says it lasts a long time as well. Just what I need!

I do have one question...what does it do to grey hair...does it give it a more red tone?

in my experience it doesnt have a grow out(root) line - like you can tell you put colour on your hair - it naturally fades out evenly
