Dark Water was probabbly the last movie to really get under my skin. The ending was sad/frightening at the same time. The whole mood of the movie really weighs down on you. | |

The part that really got me as a kid is when the grave digger is in the grave of the boy and opens up the coffin...looks up and then looks back down and...aaaaaggghhhh!!! AGREED! I think this movie is my favorite movie of all time. I love scary movies but this is the ONLY one that I can't watch by myself, to this day. AGREED! I think this movie is my favorite movie of all time. I love scary movies but this is the ONLY one that I can't watch by myself, to this day. Ooh, when i first saw Alien....when he popped out! Funny ... when I read the title of this thread I thought noone will say "what lies beneath". But I found that genuinely frightening too, though more in a jumpy fright way than an actual fear (if you know what I mean). Same thing with 'The Ring' (Hollywood version), especially the horse bit. I grew up on "Frankenstein", "The Wolfman", "Dracula", "The Mummy", and all the "House of...." . In addition, Outer Limits, and Rod Sterling, "The Twilight Zone". The 1st "Aliens" scared me, then I was into it. I love all of them. | |
