ok, I'm not 100% comfortable with one of these pictures but here are two pictures I took while on patrol in Haiti when I was part of a UN military deployment.
This is a picture of a "neighborhood" in Port O Prince. You wake up and realize how much of a spoiled bitch you are when you see entire landscapes of huts that serve as houses with no phone or electricity, not to mention plumbing in some of them. This is a staged picture. I gave a Haitian boy 2 dollars to point his toy pistol at that Corporal. In hindsight, given my current age and becoming more sensitive to such things, I would not have ever dreamed of doing it just a few years after that picture was taken. The boy was rather nervous of doing it as the Corporal is strapping an M16. Although he was a friendly boy, and he made twice the average daily wage in a 2 minute photoshoot, I concede it was a tacky thing to do, although the picture is kind of interesting to me at least. Wow, Dan. You never cease to amaze me.
The second picture, although staged, does capture something interesting. Maybe it's something about you. [Edited 12/2/07 18:32pm] I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

[Edited 12/2/07 18:41pm] We are so spoiled. It is pictures like these and little things that I see and hear that remind me to be thankful for the blessings I've been given. The second picture...wow! It is a compelling photo. Very interesting. I like it though even if you do feel guilty about it. It seems like something that you'd see in Newsweek or Time.

Renowned photographer Terry O'Neill was involved with this leading lady when she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as ruthless TV executive Diana Christensen in the 1976 classic "Network." One of O'Neill's most famous images, this spectacular color print depicts Faye reclining poolside with her Oscar and the day's headlines the morning after her triumph. A photograph from this edition hangs in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London, England. http://www.sfae.com/index...44d1d18c37 i love the heels

Am I the only one that thought that kid was heading for some molestation? Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
