Here's the before shots:

Still a work in progress, but coming together...

I put electronic dimmers on the tracks for mood lighting when not in use..

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

My wife is addicted to these remodeling shows. disbelief

These two episodes from the HGTV I Want That! Kitchens series might be helpful:

High-Style Kitchens, Compact Dual Ranges
Visit the home of one of the stars of NBC's Passions, Liza Huber, as well as a family on a small budget who still manage to renovate their kitchen in high style. Next, find out about a new computer for a shopping cart that is coming to a grocery store near you, plus a new stainless-steel protector acts as a draining board inside the sink. Then, check out a microwave with a cool scanning wand and a new dual-fuel range that is amazingly compact. Finally, we take a look at new gadgets that dispense tasty goodness one click at a time.

Ideas for a Small Kitchen, Flexible Faucet and Granite Sink
Check out a new dual-oven system that'll get your dinner on the table at the speed of light, and a granite sink sculpted straight from Mother Earth. Plus, a flexible faucet twists, turns and bends over backward, while a ceramic knife is a sharp new way to cut veggies. Then, designer Kathryn Ireland really raises the bar when she decides to remodel her entire kitchen in only three weeks. Finally, homeowners Ki Ngo and Kevin Graff fit a lot of great ideas into a really small space.

Good luck.

Since you and your wife watch the shows religiously, I wondering have you been inspired to take a stab at any remoldeling lately.

No, no, no.
I said, "My wife is addicted to these remodeling shows."

That's why with the house we just bought, I made sure nothing needed to be done.

No Bob Vila here. smile

I hate painting. I always tell myself that it is going to be easy and start the job. I always end up wondering why didnt I hire someone to do the work.
