Thankfully no. My apartment is all fresh and clean and newly renovated and I'm just waiting to buy it, so that I can immediately sell it again and finally move (which I've been wanting to do for a few years now).

I want to remodel it and just make it look nice. I'm even embarrassed to post a pic of it. It's gross. Especially since I don't spend much time in there. OH hell I may post a pic today.

Yeah, do that. Now I'm curious. nod

This is my kitchen. Small but pretty cozy. Nothing fancy.

You're welcome. Your kitchen looks like it's about the same size as mine.

Really? Interesting. I think it's a pretty good size for one person. Maybe if I was very very interested in advanced cooking it would feel too small, but as it is now it's perfectly adequate.

nod I hear ya on that, I don't cook much myself. But as you said, if I cooked a lot, it would feel squeezed in there. I remember when I first looked at this place, telling my mom how I didn't like how the kitchen was so small. But I guess I've gotten used to it now. lol

^^^^ Wow, that is REALLY nice! thumbs up! I love looking at people's houses, and how they decorate them.

Thanks, I wish I'd remembered to take some before pics... I had plain beige cabinets and ugly outdated countertops.

When the guy finished the job I stared at my kitchen every day for a week! lol

Oh, that's actually a modern invention we have here in Sweden. It's called a "dishwasher". razz

Oh weird. I didn't know there was such a thing as a little portable dishwasher.

Dishwashers are giant things that get installed under your counter in my world.

Yeah, that's how it usually is here too but I didn't have room for one and I was so sick of washing all my dishes by hand. Besides, this machine is much more efficient than any of the bigger machines I've used, and cheaper too. I might take it with me when I move.

We remodel apartments.

Change the paint, the flooring, paint or replace the cabinets (with new knobs), new appliances, new lighting fixtures, sink, hardware, faucet.

I may have to hire you.

We hire vendors like Sherwin Williams and a company called Floormasters. Then we use in house painting and Home Depot. Just spend a day at Home Depot, you will definitely be inspired.

Don't let me get started boxed. There are plenty of things that need to be done in my apartment. Some rooms are kinda okay and just need some things left to be done, but the bathroom and the hallway need to be changed a lot. The problem is that I want it all in a very individual style, and as much as I can be quite creative I am also a lazy person, so everything takes a lot of time.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

The home I bought was an older home (I love them), and needed some work. Not from a structural standpoint, but more from a design and decorative one. It's been a lot of work, but a labor of love certainly, and still ongoing. Luckily for me, I have a number of friends with an eye for design and they've been so incredibly helpful. Right now, I've like my home as is, although there are a few touches I'm still adding here and there.

I find the whole thing fun and engaging.

You should remodel your small kitchen along the lines of Tony Duquette design.

very cool. I've seen portable full-sized ones (on wheels, like an island with a chopping block on top) or ones even smaller than yours, but both were impractical when I needed one.

Yeah, I wouldn't want an even smaller one. This size is great for one person (and was perfectly okay when there were two of us living here too). It fits around ten plates, maybe eight drinking glasses and a whole bunch of utensils.

I'm remodeling a whole damn house right now, but the kitchen is closest to being done. I'll post some before and after pics after I see if I can fix a wiring problem I am having right now.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

The floor in the first picture looks like something from the 1950's era. The new floor is much nicer.

the floor in the orange kitchen was a different house than the '50's' one you are referring to.
The orange kitchen floor was someones idea of a remodel with some cheap Menards tile that was white with a pearl finish on it. ill

the '50's' one was just peal and stick tile in a rental.

IMO its a giant no no if you are going to replace old with new for the sake of replacing old with new, especially when the new is some cheap crap.
