No, I have a 27" Sony Trinitron® Standard Format television. Not to mention, my DVD player is in my computer, so I get to watch it on my 17" Monitor, LOL (shows up in b&w when I output to the tv)... biggrin

But I still prefer Letterbox, and YES... watching stardard format is like missing half the show!

One day...IceNine...one day I WILL have a TV like that neutral

I'm off to the shops in the morning. This is one of my fave films and it used to really piss me off when I had to turn it over half way through. Same goes for the Color Purple.

I also have a widescreen tv, which I bought so I could watch films in anamorphic and get a bigger picture, but I've noticed lately that a lot of films being released over here are now being cropped to 16:9, so you still miss a little bit of the picture. mad

I want anamorphic!
