I wanted to see this, but was out of town when he came to my city last week...

As I understand, Napoleon Murphy Brock and Bozzio are gone from Zappa Plays Zappa, now, right?

Anyway, have fun

only people I recognised were Ray White and Steve Vai

Lucky! I saw the first incarnation of Zappa Plays Zappa, but couldn't make the show in November. I'm still excited for the DVD release...

'City of Tiny Lights' is one of my faves, I would've loved to see that...

I saw a little clip of them playing St. Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast, which was really impressive. I cannot imagine pulling that kind of stuff off live.

Says a lot that Dweezil's able to do it, too. He recognizes his dad's creativity, but he's no slouch on the guitar.

Dweezil's a beast on guitar. Has been, for as long as I can remember.

Charlotte, dress up in your absolute best Lisa Loeb outfit, dark curly hair glasses and all.

i wanted to go so badly but i was behind on my schoolwork
and then i found out he played "magic fingers" and regretted it so much
