I never cared for "The Grinch" but I do love "A Charlie Brown Christmas", "Frosty The Snowman", "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer", "Rudolph's Shiny New Year", "The Year Without A Santa Claus", "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", etc. I recorded "A Charlie Brown Chistmas" last night. I'm thinking about recording all the classics I can this year because I probably won't have cable next year.

There are two others that I love that they never play anymore which are "The Flintstones Christmas" and "Fat Albert Christmas". Also, that Christmas movie with Yogi Bear having his first Christmas because he usually hibernates during the winter.
Andy is a four letter word.

Who else enjoys watching this Dr. Seuss cartoon during the holiday season? I love this one, it's one of my favorites because it has a real good message to it. It's kind of a tradition in my family to watch this show during Thanksgiving weekend, just in time for the holiday season. I think the adults in my family enjoy and appreciate it more than my little nephews and niece do. giggle

I love the original, though I have to new one on DVD as well. I love the Grinch!!!!!

I went to Universal Studio's a few years ago when the remake came out and they have a whole section that is Dr Seuss. At Christmas time when we went the Grinch was there walking around and in a couple of the shows. He walked past me with the long brown coat on over his head and you could only see his hands poking out. I yelled GRINCH (like a little kid..I was excited) and he kept walking in perfect Grinch fashion....

The first time I saw the original was when I was 17 or 18 and friends of mine had a tradition every Christmas to watch the Grinch and every time they said "who" you had to take a drink.
Let me tell you...everyone always ended up drunk by the end...

Oh, God, you're preaching to the choir on this one. I love it. Really all the classic stuff... Rankin-Bass (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' To Town and The Little Drummer Boy), Charlie Brown Christmas...

You know, I think I've heard of that show, but I don't think I've ever watched it.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
