No scanner so had to take pics of pics:
These are the Abregos, my great Grandparents on my mom's side: My great Grandfather had already passed when I was born but I remember my Granny Lu She died when I was four years old. I remember her funeral and being afraid. Sad I didn't really get to know her My mom tells me stories about her all the time. She was old school hard core This is my mother's father, Tildon Coy Abrigo: Funny, he changed the spelling of his last name from Abrego to Abrigo, in an effort to not stigmatize the kids with too ethnic a last name and he made it even moreso as Abrigo, is an actual word in Spanish It means coat My mother's name is Linda so literally translated her name means Beautiful Coat Literally translated mine means King's Crown Here is my mother's aunt, my grandpa Til's sister, my great Aunt Esther: That is her and my uncle Curtis with their first baby when they lived in Missouri. My aunt Esther was the craziest funnest lady and she was full of endless love. She had the best sense of humor and she was always ALWAYS happy. I miss her so much it's sick This is my Grandma Hazel when she was 5 years old or so. Pictured with her is her older brother, who is still alive and living in Bristol England: This is my Grandma Hazel as a young woman, back when she lived in England: Not sure what this event was, but I just love everything about it. The dress, the gloves, the tiara, the stone building in the background. It was cut in half when we got it so I'm not sure what is missing from the photo. This is my grandmother when she was in the Women's Junior Air Corp, 6th Bristol Unit back in England: She is 6th from the left My grandparents met during World War 2. My grandfather served and met her in England. He was serving his country and she hers. This photo was taken Dec 23, 1943. By 1946, she had moved with him to the states to Arkansas. They lived in Missouri for a bit, Ohio for a bit and then moved to California when my mom was 6 and the rest is history. I coulda been a southern boy if not for the move to cali. They moved back to Arkansas when I was 12. This is my mother and my aunt Sandy in the early 50s as children. My mom is on the right: Here they are again, feeding little piggies: Here is my mom in the 5th or 6th grade: My grandpa Til, passed away about 3 years ago and my grandma Hazel passed in 95. My aunt Cindy who lived with them in Arkansas called my mom to ask if she wanted all the pictures and stuff that was left behind. These are among the many photos we received in the mail. My aunt was going to throw it all out otherwise I have no idea why anyone would ever do such a thing but it seems it's not uncommon. All I know is that I will be the recpient of all these things when my mom leaves and I will carry the family torch. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

These pix are awesome! My uncle on my mom's side has a pic of my great grandmother and great grandfather. I wish I had that pic, because I think I resemble my great grandmother. I have the same shaped face, eyes, and color hair that she has. Although, people have told me that I look just like my mom too. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

My great grandmother (Big Mama) and her twin sister Big Mama and Big Daddy Big Mama and Big Daddy with my mom Your mom looks just like the twins! I never noticed that before. She looks most like my grandfather, but the twins are on my grandmother's side of them family. I've hadn't noticed the similarities between until u mentioned it. It's so fascinating how much we favor our relatives. Check this picture of me when I was little compared to the one with my mom : [Edited 11/27/07 18:53pm] I graduated bitches!!! 12-19-09
