Name something you can't believe someone believed! Ok, I can't even believe someone believed this.....
One day at a job I used to have, one of my co-workers said she used to think that the moon and the sun were the same object 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

But that really isn't that outrageous a leap. It's believable if you didn't know better. But the sun is the moon is the sun?! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I remember when I was younger I asked my grandma what the world was like when it was black and white. She looked at me confused and asked what I meant and I mentioned the black and white TV, thinking that was the reason why the shows weren't in color because the world used to be black and white not because the TV itself was black and white.
In my defense, I was only 5 years old 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

In my defense, I was only 5 years old I know 3 adults who thought Mars was hot because it was red in color. It never occurred to them it had anything to do with Iron oxide.

Many years ago when the first catholic priest scandals started hitting the news, my grandmother (my dad's mom) pulled my mother aside and said she kept hearing about it in the news, but she didn't know what oral sex was and asked my mom about it. My mother, not knowing what to say, just told her "gosh, I don't know".
