Stephen Colbert's "I Am America"

Is anyone reading this book? It is hilarious! I am literally laughing at every paragraph. The entire book is part of the joke. I mean, there's a fake literary award sticker on the front that says "The Stephen T. Colbert Award For The Literary Excellence."

The review quote on the back of the book says, "A great read! I laughed, I cried, I lost 15 pounds! I cannot recommend this book highly enough.--Stephen Colbert"

It really is a "must read."

I'm reading it and I agree 100%! Every paragraph is laugh-out-loud funny.

What's more, when I read the book, I hear Stephen Colbert's voice in my head saying the words!

I sure hope the writer's strike ends soon...

Oh I need to read it. Even when the writers strike ends I will only get to see The Daily Show over here. This lame country does not show the Cobert Report.
Maybe someday they will get with the program....

The Audio book, which is read by Stephen, is much better. It makes a great companion piece.

I know I was doing that before the strike. They do show the Daily Show here...those 2 shows go together and should be aired back to back.

Colbert has nothing on:

QI
Have I got news for you?
Never Mind the Buzzcocks
Jonathan Ross

or any other great British mainstay.

But he is funny.

Are all of those done before a live audience?

Sorry for my ignorance. I have only seen one of those shows and I cannot remember if it was live...

You pay a license to watch the BBC. In return you get no adverts and a quality of service guarantee.
