Thanks for the recipe I wrote it down, and just mixed it, I put it in a squirt bottle... afraid to open my door and go out back.... the stink is still so bad. Before you let your dog out at night turn on your outdoor lights and make some noise for a minute or so. Skunks have piss poor eyesight so turning on the lights and making a sound will give a little guy that's hanging around a chance to take off before your dog is let out. They spray as a last resort, but will spray if really startled...and you know dogs, they follow their nose and just run at them. | |

Funny you say that, after being sprayed by a skunk our pitt was always cautious and stepped outside slowly, she lives with my mom now, I can't have a Pittbull or a Rotwieller(sp) in this apartment, my landlords are dog bigots | |

Skunk smell "sticks to your skin if you get close to the source where it was sprayed.... and I just got my hair done... i have curly hair and its a 3 hour long job to properly wash, blow, press and curl 
I'll put on a shower cap.... I'll do it now, with gloves and a hanky over my face... I feel like I'm dressing for halloween as a "stink bandit" | |

I used up about three bottles of hydrogen peroxide... I sprayed an it worked!
Well, it didn't kill the smell, but at least it doesn't smell as bad. h2o2, smells weird BTW when mixed with Dawn, yuck. now to buy lots more h2o2.... thanks xplnyrslf  | |

ARRRRGH!!!  Just got off the phone with one of my creditors. Been having a bit of financial challenges lately and so I called to re-arrange some of my payments. Everything was cool with the collections rep until she got her supervisor on the phone to confirm what we were talking about. This IDIOT SUPERVISOR got *real* holier-than-thou with me--wanting to know why was I being irresponsible in changing up the payments when I made previous agreements. Anyway, he goes on for a friggin' half hour being completely condescending and unprofessional and finally just makes the changes--and then when I ask to speak to his supervisor, he refuses and hangs up on me.

Well, it didn't kill the smell, but at least it doesn't smell as bad. h2o2, smells weird BTW when mixed with Dawn, yuck. now to buy lots more h2o2.... thanks xplnyrslf I love H2O2. I use it to remove blood stains (work related) clean cuts and abrasions, rinse my mouth if I get a canckor sore from too much salsa or acidy foods(neutralizes and buffers) The household uses are endless. | |
