Tonight was quite a strange night - On a whim I decided to buy tickets to see the Def Comedy Jam at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham, we packed off the little 'un to my parents and had ourselves a really good night. At the interval I turn around to my left and a woman is talking at me from a few seats away, I don't recognise her so turn away and she shouts 'Nooo! You!!! Didn't you go to the Prince concert in September?' That's when it hits me, this is one of the girls and her friend that I met at the aftershow on the 1st of September! Bugger Me! Of all the people in all the places!

Let me tell you, these were some of the lovliest ladies that I have ever had the privilege to meet. At the aftershow dh and I were trying to find a good spot to stand in, when one of the fellas that was with them got animated and managed to spill my drink perfectly down my clevege. We got chatting and got on like a house on fire. They asked me if I'd been to an a/s before and when I told them that it was the first time I'd been to one that Prince had played at they grabbed me and gave me the choicest spot to stand in (I found that so touching ) When Prince came out from the door to our left we all had a screech together (even though I'd missed it by seconds ) I was really sad to leave after such a fabulous night and really regreted not swapping some contact details - well tonight I found out that one of them is a regular orger! JoyJoy you're a star - Thank you so much for making my night, both at the Prince aftershow and tonight - I grinned all the way home!
