I think the apples still had too much water in them. It just wasn't "set" enough. It's a little, well, thin in the middle. It still tasted great, but the texture was all wrong.

What is Thanksgiving exactly?

lots of water in that margarine too... if it's the same as what i am thinking of.


side note i still haven't had cornbread

Essentially, it's a day to give thanks for our "blessings".

It's traditionally celebrated by cooking a turkey and eating way too much food and watching (american) football.

It's supposedly based on a meal the pilgrims had with the native americans to thank them for helping them survive when they first got here. But, of course, that is mostly a lie.

But it's still a nice day to spend with family and I particularly like the idea of saying thanks and showing gratitude.

I don't cook them I just eat them my sister cooks it or my aunt but I don't have the skills to make greens yet so.....
