What scents do you enjoy during the holidays ( any holiday )

when i was a kid, my mom had one of those damn wax Wizard brand air fresheners in the shape of santa, and it had a weird spicy pine smell to it. so i guess whenever i smell pine mixed with cinnamon and it's kinda waxy smelling, it takes me back.

I used to love to bring home the scrap branches from the Christmas tree stands and cut them and put them into a large handmade metal bowl that my ex mother in law gave us. It would look like a large wreath and I would decorate with beautiful berries sent to me from PA. It was beautiful and smelled wonderful.

The legions of scraggly rent-a-Santas at local malls across the country usually have a distinctive smell.

I hate the holidays, but I secretly love the smell of old lady perfumes and apple pie.
...makes me think of my grandma

Pine and Cinnamon

My aunt bought me a hand and lotion set one Christmas, brand name "Motions" and it's fragrance was the sum total of Christmas scents. No one scent stood out but it was a combination of various Christmas smells. Anyone that smelled it all they could say was that it definitely smelled like Christmas. I've wanted to find it every since, but have been unable to locate it.
