The sound on both is great. The creative has more audio features but unfortunately doesn't work with itunes. I also like that the creative plays .wma which I had to stop using cause iTunes and the iPod don't support it.

The nano is just all around beautiful. 8 gigs, smooth, great sound, and an overall high end feel to it. I actually like the 2nd gen design of the nano more than he 3rd gen.

My next iPod will likely be an iPod classic due to the hard drive size on them. I mean, 160 gigs at least twice my music collection right now.

The Alba model i got has an SD slot, so you can expand the memory...kinda neat.

I've been ripping my wma files to my iTunes. I'm getting a iPod next week

I'm 32 and don't have one. lol

But I've been pricing the Creative Zens for a couple of weeks now. I just need a couple of paycheck from the second job first.

How did it go last night!?!

And yeah, it's not that I don't WANT one. sad I had a beautiful black iPod 160 last year until the ignition in my relatively new car stopped working. neutral

I had a Sansa Express a few months back but it never connected to my computer.

I had a really cheap off-brand one last month that worked and sounded great but it was so flimsy and cheap I had to take it back because I knew it would break sooner than later.

I'm like, the queen of mp3 player returns. confused

Broken iPod.

Mdiver, thanks for the tip. It appears to have worked with my son's iPod, but not mine. However, I don't think my iPod's problem is that battery; rather, it's whatever component reads battery life.
