you know the one that 5,000 lights up, the big ass inflatable snow dome in the yard, the santa and reindeer on the roof...15 light-up reindeer in the yard grazing...and a little ass house?

This is my block

Only lights I see are stars and the moon

my only thought is, how on earth can anyone afford the electric bill?

yes a few of them
last year someone put up -

a santa and sleigh stuck to the house roof.
8ft inflatable snowman
4 plastic nodding reindeers
lit up santa on a bike
a tree.
and a lot of flashing lights.

We usually are the house with the most lights on the block

I have to say..that I am that whore!

People on my block can barely afford to keep their lights on in their place, so no one has lights up around here.

Man, I can't wait to move.

Anyway, I'm gonna put some up on Dec 1 - just around my front window.

I barely want to do the tree thing or lights....I do it for my kid.

Nope, people don't do exterior Christmas decorating here (except maybe a wreath on the door). We do all our decorating indoors instead.

People on my street don't really decorate much. A couple of people put up a few lights, but it isn't over-decorated like I've seen on some houses

Yeah, that would be me. I have two F/A-18 Hornets that have 6-foot wingspans and are lit up like the Blue Angels. I put them on 8-foot high poles.

They have nothing to do with Christmas but they are the coolest things you will ever see in a front yard.

My neighborhood kinda sucks.
They throw a few lights on the bushes and thats it.
