So americans and non americans whatcha doing this Thursday for thanksgiving? I'm gonna be with family and friends and see my sis! What about you?

I'm spending my Thanksgiving at home with my parents, my sister and her fiance, and a couple of other relatives. I can't wait.

Im staying home this year. Dont feel like being bothered with anyone.

going to my parent's house. maybe helping cook alternative vegan thanksgiving stuff with my sister if i'm feeling nice.

i'm on call for my job.

but if i'm not called in, we're probably gonna start putting up xmas decorations.

I have it off and I am teaching my 14 year old son how to cook the turkey but I work the day before and after.....thank bob for holiday pay

I have to fry 3 turkeys...I miss the old days of not having responsibilities on holidays...all I had to do was sit at the kids table and eat...

Thinking about Christmas....

I will be spending it with my extended family of 17 at my sisters house. This is the first time in about 5 years I have not hosted Thanksgiving, so I will sit back, eat and enjoy. Our menu is very american traditional.

Working.

Same shit as every year - immediate family, laught & talk, tell the same fucking stories, worry that the kids find the old-school music boring, take my punk ass home w/ a gang of food

Spend the day stuffing my girlfriend's bird & gobbling up her sweet potato pie.

Non Americans are probably just going about their usual Thursday.

I, however, will be going to my mother-in-law's house, where massive amounts of food will be consumed, wine will be drank, and I will eventually either pass out in the living room on a couch, or pass out in the car ride home if Alex is in a hurry to see our house.

Then, Saturday, we shall travel again, to the house of my father, to have Thanksgiving with my family. We will repeat the process.
