8 & 9 year-olds Charged w/ RAPE! ACWORTH, Ga. - Three boys, ages 8 and 9, were being held Monday in a detention center on charges of kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl near a suburban apartment complex, officials said.
The three boys — an 8-year-old and two 9-year-olds — were charged with rape, kidnapping, false imprisonment and sexual assault, Dennard said. They were due in juvenile court Monday afternoon. Their names were being withheld because of their age. Acworth Police Chief Mike Wilkie said said one of the boys was accused of threatening to hit the girl with a rock before the alleged assault. Wilkie also said the investigation is "far from over," and investigators are looking into claims that after the alleged attack, the girl talked about it with her friends at a slumber party. The father of the 8-year-old boy said his son had been falsely accused and had not had sex with the girl. The sexual activity was consensual, and the girl accused her playmates only after her parents had learned she had sex, said the father, Brandon LeBlanc. "There was no violence involved," LeBlanc said. "This is a clear case of a girl who didn't want to get in trouble with her parents." He added, "In order to save her hide, she tried to blame it on rape." The girl's mother, however, told WGCL-TV in Atlanta, "They do need to be taught a lesson because if they do it to her, they could do it to somebody else. And who knows when they become teenagers what they can do to other girls." Full story HERE By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I sweat these kids are drivin' on the fast lane. WAY faster than I was. I mean...at 5, being naughty for me was watching Prince videos when parents were out of the room. It was watching the sex scenes in soap operas and trying to figure out wtf the Spice Channel was. I seriously didn't discover anything further until I was ten. Even then, I kept what little I knew to myself. It shocks the crap outta me at 22 to know that this generation is willing to take it all off and do everything way before their bodies or minds are ready for it. That is very very scary. (Cliche question in 3...2...) Where are the parents in all this? Where was that lil' girl's head? Good Lord.

I believe the girl.
There are some fucked up little sociopaths out there, even at the ages of 8 and 9. I'm 36 years old and I've seen them, yes they existed in the 70's too. I'm not even remotely surprised. And I'm definitely not surprised that the father of the accused would in turn attack the girl's character. Because that's what those slimy son of a bitches DO to protect their false sense of pride. As for her revelation at a slumber party? By the end of a night a LOT of secrets come out at slumber parties, you know. Secrets, revealed or intensified rivalries, slam books...you'd be surprised the level of angst revealed in this environment once kids start expressing themselves without the presence and fear of adults and some form of retribution (whether real or imagined). Slumber parties, for good or bad, whether pleasant experiences or not, are like living short stories in themselves for young girls. It is a bonding experience for girls that can be something along the lines of Disney-esque or Louisa May Alcott, or it can journey into darker territories a lá Judy Blume, or heaven help them, Toni Morrison. However, one thing is for certain, no matter if the story is lighthearted comedy or secret-filled tragedy for these children, the night is always laid out in basic story form: Exposition Complication Climax Resolution And girls are always altered by the slumber party experience. Everyone walks away from them a little bit changed,it's simply the question of whether they walk away enriched by the simple joy of the experience, or altered by a release of confrentational emotions and revelations. It appears that in this story we are somewhere between the climax and the resolution... ![]() [Edited 11/20/07 1:03am]
