well now we know who all the democrats are...

my earlier post was a joke - farce, etc...

u all honestly believe that Bill "Smooze" Clinton was the better man... U may need to check Hillary's list of "clients".

when clinton left office this "countries" economy was already backwinding, oh how soon we all forget the thousands of people caught in the dot.com and biotech wars when the stock market was bottoming out in 1999-2000.
when we hit recessions we put republicans in the house - for they make the money that the democrats spend.
as for wars - they produce $$, for your country, foreign aid - humm exactly who gives the US $$ in that department?
Bush a cowboy, maybe!! but what really pisses you off is he is a millonaire with or without the Presidency "burns doesn't it"...he will have no need to steal the china, tapestries or rugs like some unnamed Ex-Presidents.

furthermore, the constitution gave the Commander-In-Chief final say in matters of war a LONG tyme before now, Bush did not need to approach the Senate, but he did, must have been one hell've an argument for them to agree...

Al Gore was never going to win the election...even after the counted and recounted the Florida votes, or did you miss the section where Gore was blocking the VOTES that had to trucked in from the Dakota's and other mid western states that voted Republican... funny how we only see what we wanna see...

Who ever wrote it can't help but NOT hide his anti-democrat platform at the risk of no objectivity at all.

Have you not noticed that severe and intense anti-Republican rants of most people on here?

Personally, I dislike both parties equally... but there is nothing wrong with this person's view and it is no worse than the views of the Republican bashers.

I am a card-carrying member of the Libertarian Party... like all Libertarians, I believe that there is absolutely no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats.

I really don't get into the political arguments as a rule because nobody will really listen to anyone else's views or ideas... I am guilty of this as well, as I do not agree with really ANYTHING that the Democrats say and very little of what the Republicans say.

Introduction to the LP

What Is The Libertarian Party?[/b]

The Libertarian Party is your representative in American politics. It is the only political organization which respects you as a unique and competent individual.

America's Heritage

Libertarians believe in the American heritage of liberty, enterprise, and personal responsibility. Libertarians recognize the responsibility we all share to preserve this precious heritage for our children and grandchildren.

Free and Independent

Libertarians believe that being free and independent is a great way to live. We want a system which encourages all people to choose what they want from life; that lets them live, love, work, play, and dream their own way.

Caring For People

The Libertarian way is a caring, people-centered approach to politics. We believe each individual is unique. We want a system which respects the individual and encourages us to discover the best within ourselves and develop our full potential.

Principled; Consistent

The Libertarian way is a logically consistent approach to politics based on the moral principle of self-ownership. Each individual has the right to control his or her own body, action, speech, and property. Government's only role is to help individuals defend themselves from force and fraud.

Tolerant

The Libertarian Party is for all who don't want to push other people around and don't want to be pushed around themselves. Live and let live is the Libertarian way.

America's Third Largest Party

The Libertarian Party is America's third largest and fastest growing political party. Libertarians engage in a variety of projects, working for everyone's liberty on every issue.

The Libertarian Party was created in December of 1971 by people who realized that the politicians had strayed from America's original libertarian foundation, with disastrous results. Their vision was the same as that of America's founders -- a world where individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways, a world of peace, harmony, opportunity, and abundance.

Libertarians are practical; we know we can't make the world perfect. But, it can be better. Libertarians will keep working to create a better, freer society for everyone. As William Allen White said: "Liberty is the only thing you cannot have unless you are willing to give it to others."

Why Not Stick With The Establishment?

"This country is a one-party country. Half of it is called Republican and half is called Democrat. It doesn't make any difference. All the really good ideas belong to the Libertarians."

Hugh Downs, Co-host ABC-TV's 20/20, 31 March 1997
The politicians in Washington and our state capitals have led us away from the principles of individual liberty and personal responsibility which are the only sound foundation for a just, humane, and abundant society.

Government at all levels is too large, too expensive, woefully inefficient, arrogant, intrusive, and downright dangerous. Democratic and Republican politicians have created the status quo and do not intend to change it.

The Libertarian Option

Consider the Libertarian option:

Substantially reduce the size and intrusiveness of government and cut all taxes.

Let peaceful, honest people offer their goods and services to willing consumers without a hassle from government.

Let peaceful, honest people decide for themselves what to eat, drink, read, or smoke and how to dress, medicate themselves, or make love, without fear of criminal penalties.

The U.S. government should defend Americans and their property in America and let the U.S. taxpayer off the hook for the defense bill of wealthy countries like Germany and Japan.

IceNine...i bow!!

actually i was a democrat until William Clinton attained another 4 yr stay at the "head" house in chocolate city..
where i then became (for lack of choices, Republican) but then again maybe because i took alot of shit to get what i got...i aim's to keep mine!!

i am not anti-democrat, yet i am completely militant to anything Clinton related...

most of the people that start ranting on this site are speculating which is fine, but if you are not a washingtonian and are not presently considering roaming the streets here, please let it go... when u try to make Clinton look good/or valuable u make urselves look like complete jackasses...bill clinton held no power...

I wasn't saying you are anti-democrat, I said who ever wrote the text you posted. I never got the feeling you wrote it. But to say ANY president 'held no power' is just silly. And nobody has to try and make any president past or present look good or valuable, their records are available for anyone to find and those records speak for themselves. Good, bad, valuable or completely useless.

this country really misses bill clinton

...every since george bush got in office all kind of fucked up shit has been happening...

stock market dies,

we get bombed,

fucking snippers shooting everybody, hurricanes fucking up my house,

and prince take his ass to Europe instead of staying here in America for the war that is about to start.

When we had Bill life was great!

what do you think?

who is the better leader?

That's a tough question to answer considering Bush is in a totally different predicament than Clinton was when he was in office. The stock market was in a slump before Bush came into office, we were gonna get bombed either way, even if Gore was in office..and I doubt that Bush have anything to do with hurricanes ripping houses down.
