Tonight, I am a model in a fashion show. My partner will be either a Houston Texans cheerleader or a Houston Rockets Power Dancer. (NOTE: This part of my post could also appear in the "WHAT ARE THE PERKS OF YOUR JOB? thread.)

Tomorrow, we clean the house.

Tomorrow night I'm going to a concert put on by my buddy AntBoogie. Tamar is going to sing with his band. If Prince shows up, I'll be sure to let y'all know.

Sunday, it's the Texans v. Saints game, then I'm putting together the business plan for my $$$millions idea.

I don't know what happened, but I am so fucking in love with life right now. I've got tickets to a secret Lenny Kravitz concert at the Fillmore in San Francisco (I know, I know, but I haven't gone out to have fun in way too long, and it's free). Tomorrow I'm going to nail a persuasive speech at school, so I can (hopefully) prepare a report in order to speak to the FDA to allow gay men to donate blood. BLISS, I almost forgot what you felt like! cloud9

biggrin Definitely. We really need to be ashamed of our bodies and our natural instinct to feel good without hurting others.

We need to get over that hurdle and embrace a life devoid of pleasure and happiness, because face it: The Lord wants us to be as miserable as possible.

pray We can do this. Together.

Ol' Almighty doesn't send us to the fire pits for mutual masturbation, right? Have they prohibited that yet?

hmmm It's teamwork. It's a mutually selfless act. Kinda.

Google it--it's insane. I'm a blood bank employee myself, and we're (along with the American Association of Blood Banks and the American Red Cross) appalled. The FDA has a history of this hateful, primitive attitute and other countries have lifted this ban years ago. HIV/AIDS is not just a GAY reality, for Christ's sake. If the FDA were truly banning donors who were statistically more likely to contract the virus, they'd be banning OTHER minorities that included races--not just genders or orientations.

Additionally, the HIV/AIDS virus can be detected within hours or days of infection, so lifting the lifelong male gay sex ban and posting deferrals of 6-12 months (as a start), would be absolutely safe and sane for the recipient.

That is total madness. I think here in the UK that heterosexuals are the fastest growing group of people contracting HIV. Mind you, I have no clue if we ban certain groups of people from giving blood. I am really shocked, and that doesn't happen often - trust me!

If you've ever donated, I'll guess it's been a long time since, as it's hard to forget the donor questionnaire you must fill out beforehand. lol There are a hoard of things (many warranted) that will prohibit you from donating--temporarily or permanently.

I've never donated because I've either been on antibiotics or malaria tablets (long story lol ) so haven't been able to. Hence, my state of cluelessness.

Friday night, I'm gonna see Stars at the Showbox.

Saturday, I'm gonna take out my front door and trim about 1/4 inch from the bottom so it will actually open (just laid down a floating floor). I will then paint the door. Saturday night, I'm gonna see Visqueen & Walkmen at Neumo's.

Sunday, I'm gonna wake up late. I'm going to do laundry and finish what I didn't finish the day before. I'm gonna watch the Seahawks game. I'm going to invite some friends over who I've had a devil of a time connecting with lately. Oh, and buy tire chains, if I get the chance.

I went to a PC party the weekend before last. I finally got the garlic press but haven't had a chance to use it. They've carmelized their bamboo utensils so they don't get so ugly looking when you cook with them.

If something happens despite the lack of planning then yeah, I agree. Spontaneous, non-planned fun is the best. If the weekend just stays empty and ends up with me alone in front of the tv for three nights though, then no thanks.
