I have to say I love the word FUCK!...

I mean have you ever seen such a versatile word? It's wonderfuckingful... see what I fucking mean...fuck!

"Fuck" is definitely my favorite, though I try not to curse when speaking - I just let it come out in typed words. But when I have to curse, I'm like, "That fucking sucks!" or whatever. I love how people think the word is so "taboo," you know?

Dictionary.com says it was, of course, originally very acceptable. It's interesting to see how an acceptable word can be turned into something so "bad."

I can't say I see anything particularly wrong with curse words though - they're just words, right? I do find myself not saying them - they'll get you in trouble at school and the like, and it's generally just considered disrespectful to those around you who don't like the words.

However, who's to say what's not a "clean" word? And what about people who, say, rather than "fuck" say "fudge" like..."Well, fudge!" Or whatever, don't you think it's the same thing? You are IMPLYING the same word, whether you say "fudge" "duck" "muck" whatever. It's all going to make people think of the same thing - and apparently you were too, so why not just be like "FUCK!" You know?

I don't curse very much and when I feel like I want to I'd rather say something clever or witty, or biting and scathing if it's directed at anyone in particular.
Although, somtimes you just can't beat a good "fuck".

I'm all about time and place for appropriate language. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people swear in front of children. Not because I believe it is inherently harming the children, just cause I think it's bad manners.

When I was a freshman in high school, there was a circulation going around (under cover) of the many usages for the f*** word. Back then, I was a prude and hardly cursed and when I did, my friends told me to stop because it didn't even sound right...LOL...but I digress. If anyone has seen or saw the circulation at the time, it basically broke down all the many ways we utilize that word in language...it is sooo cool. Like when you make a mistake...Oh F***, or when you're angry at someone...F*** U, or when you wanna...Let's f***!! or excitement...this is f***ing great!!, etc.
