A Day In the Country...

This thread is pretty much inspired by Imagos pics from around Tampa...these are some pics I took this morning while working outside the city limits...


A typical dirt road...


cotton field...


an old water tower...


hay in the field...


an old gas pump, this is actually in my great grandmothers yard...


cows...


it's hard to tell in this pic, but the grassy area in the very front is a beaver dam...


the swamp end of Lake Grace...


nothing spectacular, I know...but alot of folks never see the country side...shrug

Very nice! smile

My mother's side of the family are all farmers or live in the country (she grew up on a farm), so I grew up jumping all over hay bales and having a favorite cow at my cousin's house. We traveled out of "the cities" often to visit them.

It was just this morning...

now if I had taken a pic of some eggs at the chicken farm, it would be a different story....

from egg to mcnugget only takes about 15 minutes....
