LaV, you have great hair...Good job! I also do not trust anybody with my hair and do my own...Although there is not much to do just trim it once in a while. Color? I have added some highlights in the past mainly when I was in Calif., but I always end up putting it back at its natural color. Dark brown...straight! | |

Let's add a little spice to this thread...does anyone have any questions they would like to ask, regarding hair? Don't get too technical - if you do, I would need a really nice picture of you for payment.  (actually seeing the hair is very important when handing out advice, or info)

I'm always in war with my hair. Sometimes I go to the coiffeur and then it depends (lol) to whom and where. I let cut my hair also from girlfriends. Always I like to let the artists free hands to do what the like with my head, I just have can to go out of the salon and do feel free, new and fresh.
But sometimes, I can't wait and then I do make my hair myself, a cut, seldom color reflex. The best cut I made's been when I did shave me. Then I felt free! WOW! But look and find a job as woman, shaved!   So I am trying to let my hair grown longer again... I have to eat something,

I use to do my hair myself until I went to go see my daddy then I got my hair done my a professional and now I'm pissed because people here don't know what they're doing when it comes to hair, but I have to get my hair cut every month so I go to a shop and pray that they don't fuck me up. My grandfather was bald at age 20! I don't miss having hair. It used to be so much hassle washing it, drying it, styling it, brushing it. What a pain in the arse! Speaking of...  , "hair issues". The other day I told you some about mine... , so... you know I have black hair, started graying way back in H.S., I plucked them with tweezers until I couldn't keep up with them. I believe when I was 26 yrs. I began getting it professionally colored. (I always tried to stay with my natural color) I have been going to the same hairdresser for years, her children went to the Montessori School I taught at for 9 yrs. Anyways, I decided to go to her... for she always kept her hair done well (healthy), I believe that if a person takes care of their own hair, they probably would have concern for others.
As for my salt and pepper hair... , I believe I will keep it... believe it or not, I actually get so many compliments on it.  My hair is naturally curly as well and very thick, but not coarse. Considering that I have such thick hair and it is naturally curly... it is actually very fine/soft.  The length right now... is at shoulders length and the cut is (o.k.) for now... it is tappered a bit longer in the front, than in the back and layered at the ends. I wear it curly or straight, although with it being somewhat fine textured... I never get it fully straight without the ends flipping up , people think I do it on purpose.  
When I write... I sure get carried away... , nonetheless... Beautiful Day... .

I've probably been to the barber maybe 5 times in the last 5 years. I've had my hair very long, shaved to the skin and everywhere in between. Usually I do it myself. About once a year, I shave it down to nothing and then as it grows out, I trim up the messy bits. Right now, I really like how it looks. | |

I received a digital camera for Christmas from my parents and it's been wonderful. The quality of the photos is great, too. I use it a lot more than I ever did a regular camera because it's cheaper and I can easily toss the photos that aren't very flattering. I mean, like, where is the sun? | |
