But..... KINDERGARTEN?! Bless you dear. Your poor soul. No, not poor. I'm looking forward to it. I know. I just know how exhausting it is with my two boys and I cannot imagine being in charge of an entire class of little ones. It will have it's rewarding days and I'm sure there will be times you'll want to run and hide.

God, that sounds wonderful! Well it was exhausting, but yeah - they were really cute and sweet and well-behaved which made it a nice experience (I think you'll find that rewarding too, JD). I probably looked like the big friendly giant visiting their little world and they seemed to think of it as a major event. At lunch time I had to sit on one of their chairs and it was about half the size of my butt. They watched in awe as I ate everything on my tray in two or three bites. Then we played a charade game that I'd made up where I would pretend to be an animal, and with them imitating me we would walk across the floor to a bunch of animal pictures on the wall. They had to pick the right one and then we'd say the English name for it together. Some of the kids were adamant to get there first, while others were totally absorbed with doing all the animal sounds and moves. You should have seen us when we were kangaroos. lol We also played freeze tag, jan-ken, pass the ball, and a bunch of other games until I was almost keeling over from fatigue. It almost broke my heart when it was suddenly "cleaning time" and all of them stopped playing, grabbed a washcloth each, and started eagerly scrubbing the floor. Not a single one of them objected. Good luck trying to get 4 or 5-year-olds to do that in one of our countries, eh?
