Recipe Ideas Please! So tomorrow we are doing this thing at work, for charity. We all have to make a dish, either a starter, main or dessert, and bring it in, and share!
I am making a main course and I need inspiration! I love cooking and I'm actually pretty good at it, but the problem is it has to be something that can be eaten cold, or heated up in the microwave And of course I am a bit late in asking for help…I have to make it tonight, for tomorrow morning, and it's now 10.40am here! So far I am thinking either roast chicken, with the gravy heated up in the microwave, or risotto…. Does risotto heat up in the microwave, if I add more cream maybe?! Come on you guys I know you excel at this! Rock n roll baby

Come on you guys I know you excel at this! Get a packet of two minute noodles, and cook...beat together three eggs and mix in flavor sachet, add cooked noodles. Heat a fryingpan with a tablespoon of olive oil, pour in noodle and egg mix, cook until brown, turn over and cook until brown on other side. Tip onto a plate and slice (small pieces or pie slices) really nice cold or hot and cheap PRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

Yum! How are you? The first thing I thought of was chilli but I feel that, although I make it all the time, everyone in here might be a bit snobby about it! We have been to one of my workmates houses for dinner twice and he made chilli, which to him meant 5 different meat dishes and fresh guacamole...I couldnt compete! Still an option though! I'm good Just working away, back at my Mums now and all better! How are you and bump? New house ok? Rock n roll baby

I found the recipe written by a fellow spaniard
For 4 to 6 persons: 1 cup olive oil, four large potatos(peel and cut in circles about 2mm thick; salt to taste; one large onion, thinly sliced; four large eggs. (Some people add thin slices of red pepper together with the onion) Heat the oil in a 9-inch skillet, add potatos, one slice at a time so that they don't stick. Alternate layers of potato and onion. COOK slowly, medium flame. DO NOT FRY!! Turn ocasionally until potatoes are tender, but NOT brown. They must be loose, not "in a cake". Beat eggs in a large bowl with a fork. Salt to taste. Drain potatoes. Add potatoes to beaten eggs, pressing them so that eggs cover them completely. Let sit for 15 minutes. Heat 2 tbsps of the oil in large skillet. Add potates-egg mixture, spreading quickly.Lower the heat to medium-high.Shake pan to prevet sticking (crucial step!!) When potatoes start to brown, put a plate on skillet and turn around, adding another tbsp of oil. Brown on the other side. Can flip three or four timesfor better cooking. Serve with Marques de Caceres or Vega Sicilia (forget about French wines.) For parties is served cutting it in small squares (cubes?) with toothpicks to take them.

Pandurito's idea definitely in the lead so far...I think I will have to make it tomorrow morning though as the egg part might not keep so well! Doesn't look too hard....
Its either that or risotto at this point I am looking forward to this! Rock n roll baby
