like your stomach hurting, a sense worthlessness, your mind drifts and sorta feels like lavendar fog.

Youthful, idealistic, crush, unsatisfied.

When you get older, you're like so over that shit, you'll look back and wince or giggle.

Right now, it rips at your insides though. shrug

People of all ages get gut-wrenching crushes, though. I'd like to think I'm still capable of them no matter the age.

Except a crush has never made me feel worthless. That's sad. sad

But you don't feel because you're so old now that you have the capacity to understand what's happening better, and to implement "techniques" of getting over or beyond it faster?

I find my crushes hurt, but not nearly on the level they used to. shrug

I kid about the "old" remark. I kid, I kid.

I pretty much agree with this asessment...

but careful with that lavendar fog analogy, baroque...the purple one is watching and no doubt in my mind he'll asume you lifted that from Purple Rain....

Perhaps a bit. I suppose I have crushes in general in better perspective.
But they can still kill. lol

And you're older than me, buster, so you'd better watch it!
