Life has enough to deal with without adding snowy cold weather to the equation. One of the benefits of L.A. is being able to go to it (during ski season) and then get away from it the same day. Hey, I grew up in Chicago for 7 years then spent the next 11 years on the east coast, so I can relate lol ...but I still miss seeing an entire field covered in new-fallen snow, no footprints or disturbances of any kind...there's something about seeing it snow that makes everything even more quiet. I think it's that with rain, you hear each raindrop when it hits the ground, so you expect to hear something with each snowflake as well...but you don't. It really emphasizes the absence of sound... But yeah, I do love that I can drive up into the San Bernardino mountains during the winter and experience the snow, then drive an hour and a half and be at the beach if I want to lol . But I miss waking up to it snowing, being surrounded by it when I know I have absolutely nowhere to go... Snow would be wicked if it didn't go hand in hand with freezing cold temperatures.

Love it - until it gets slushy, dirty, and piss-colored.

I grew up in Florida and I enjoy snow, but fortunately I have always had the option to choose to experience snow, instead of having to live and survive in it.
I now live in Atlanta and it does snow here, but it is not frequent. Hence, I love snow, but I can also leave it.... "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

I love it for a month or two, especially during the darkest part of the year since it helps reflect and spread what little light there is, but other than that I can definitely live without it.

I love the snow. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

God invented airplanes so that when I need to see snow, I can hop on one and see some.
