I loved Purple Rain...but how could the audience and Billy the club manager NOT like Prince's performance of "Computer Blue" and "Darling Nikki"? Hell, Billy even got pissed off that he performed the songs and started yelling at him backstage! Please. And nobody would have given a rat's ass if Appolonia was dissed during the performance. If anything, they would have doubled over laughing....and how exactly did Appolonia know "Darling Nikki" was about HER, anyway? She never masturbated with a magazine or use devices in the movie. He could have been talking about Susan for all she knew. Makes no sense. | |
