Jesus counts for an endangered species, right? I have several lovely Jesus Christ recipes!
Rhonda's Jesus Christ Holupki 1 head cabbage 1 lb ground Jesus Christ 1 cup rice (parboiled) chopped onions fried in oil (save some for sauce) 1 egg salt and pepper parsley Sauce 1 large can tomato puree or sauce fried onions Parboil the cabbage and separate leaves. Combine ground Jesus Christ, parboiled rice, the chopped onion fried in oil, egg, salt, pepper and parsley. Fill and roll cabbage leaves. Place in large pot. Put water in the bottom and bring to a boil. Pour tomato sauce over the holupki and cook for an hour or until cabbage is done. Buckwheat Groats Filling for Holupki 1 large onion, chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped 1/3 cup oil or margarine 4 cups cooked buckwheat groats 1 1/2 cups cooked rice 1 egg 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 teaspoon pepper salt to taste 1/4 cup tomato sauce or ketchup Saute onions and celery in oil. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Alternatively, ground Jesus Christ may be replaced by ground hamburger... -------

Tarrogon Barn Owl With Mushrooms
1 barn owl plucked and be-headed a small bunch of fresh tarrogon or parsley 55g/2 oz butter 1 carrot 2 shallots, quartered 225g/8 oz button mushrooms 1-2 tablespoons sherry 150ml/quarter pint of double cream salt and freshly ground black pepper Preheat oven to 190 c/375 f, gas mark 5 Put the herbs inside the owl and put into a flameproof casserole pot with the butter. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 hour 20 minutes. Meanwhile, make a little stock by simmering the giblets with the carrot and shallots for about 30 minutes, then strain. Add the mushrooms to the casserole. Cook for a further 10 minutes. Remove the owl and mushrooms to a dish and keep hot. Reduce the juices then add the sherry and the stock. Simmer for 2 or 3 minutes then add the cream. Simmer for a further 5 minutes and season. Carve the owl and serve with the mushrooms. Drizzle with sauce. Some people are like Slinkies...

Manatee w/Mushroom gravy sauce...
1.Go to the local grocery store, pick up a FRESH Manatee...stale Manatee's will not work, as they taste like melted tire rubber. 2.Clean up the ensuing mess that the Manatee will undoubtedly leave in your car and house, whilst you and it are tussling about. 3.Dead yet? Good,:wOOt:. Boil till tender, roughly 12 hrs. 4.Let stand for 30 mins. This will allow the Manatee to reabsorb it's own juices. 5.Serve smothered in a mushroom sauce of your liking! Enjoy the not-so-bountiful fruits that nature has to offer! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Ex-Moderator | I actually own The Decadent Cookbook by Medlar Lucan and Durian Grey. Among instructions on how to have a feast fit for Caligula, a chapter of recipes devoted to using blood as the main ingredient and a fantasy Marquis de Sade-style feast is a chapter of recipes using endangered species, including the aye-aye (of which the book claims there are only about 20 left in existence), the Japanese Ibis and Giant Panda Paw. |

Very cool... post some recipes!!! Alright... Kapoko Pie The parrot owl of New Zealand, also known as the kapoko, has been hunted to the point where it is almost extinct, so presumeably it is rather tasty. Mrs Beeton provided the following recipe- orginally for parakeets. Ingredients: 2 kapokos a few slices of beef (underdone cold beef is the best for this purpose) 4 rashers of bacon 3 hard-boiled eggs minced parsley lemon peel pepper and salt stock puff paste Mode: Fillet and joint the birds. Line a pie-dish with the beef cut into slices, over them place the breasts and legs of one of the kapokos, dredge with flour, fill up the spaces with the eggs cuts into slices and scatter over seasoning. Next put the bacon, cut in small strips, then kapoko and fill up with beef seasoning as well. Pour in the stock and water to nearly fill the dish, cover with puff paste and bake for one hour. |

i know this is just fun, but the situation bout endangered species, is a immensely serious problem. They say in bout mid-20-centery over 50% of all species will be exctinct or in danger of bein exctinct. This is due 2 a man-made modern world, i hate the chinese and some of the asains cuz they eat anythin, includin endangered species, they need 2 be tought a lesson >:0 They eat dogs, cats bats! They'd probably eat there gran'ma if they were hungry.

Natsume said: I see. By whom? And did He also intend for them to be factory farmed? If so, He is a cruel bastard. My recipe: Human Stew Take 2 humans of the endangered sort (those who consume resources beyond any and all reason; North America is an excellent place to find such humans if they are not widely available in your locale, though they probably are). Cut into small cubes. Boil in water that was packaged in a plastic bottle and shipped via gasoline powered vehicle across the world. Add exotic veggies of your choice, also shipped from a climate far far away via gasoline powered vehicle. Stir in some salt harvested from your local polluted body of seawater. . . Blah blah blah. Generally love the soapbox, but my heart isn't in it today, maybe some other time. Doves, Mel!ssa
