Signs of getting old and stuff

Ok so I think I’m finally getting old, I mean I’m 31 now but until recently always kinda felt between 17-21. Firstly my music taste is changing, I attempted and failed to by a Jeff Healy band cd, heard a Michael Buble song on the radio and thought ‘that’s really nice’ then did the eek emoticon. I’ve started developing an interest in World War two documentaries on the History Channel, arranged the condiments in the kitchen in size order (the balsamic vinegar is last incase you’re interested) and seem to have an obsession with cooking/cookery programmes. My friends and I used to email each other about new bands/films we wanted to see. No my inbox is full of paella recipes.

Anyway do you have any signs you are getting old?

Or am I just turning into my Dad?

I can scratch my knee and my nuts, same time, same hand.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Don´t buy inot this idea of getting old. Look at it realistically, you simply don´t do the things anymore that you used to do when you were younger, like going out, playing basketball outside for hours, dancing, running, taking a walk, socializing like you did when you were 21, you hve the freedom to stay up as long as you wish and do what you want to do and hence deprive yourself of sleep, you probably don´t eat as healthy as you used to do or at least not regularly, and so on.

I am 35 but I don´t think about it, and I honetly feel much, much better than I did in my 20s. I´mk stronger, I work out at least four times a week, don´t have gray hair, eat tons of healthy stuff with olive oil. Running, exercise, workouts, swimming, two protein shakes a day, water, zinc and ginseng supplements, lots of green and black tea, coffee.....I feel great, much better physically than ten years ago , and even my sex life is much better than in my younger years.
Sure, there are changes that you can´t do anything about but don´t let these things bring you down. Even the hormone changes are something that you can control.

And remember, even when you were a teenager , I´m sure there were a bunch of guys at school who weren´t fit, who were obese, looked old, felt old and had a backache or something ...it´s got more to do with how you look after yourself than what´s written in your birth certificate.

Life is about change, and changes occur all the time.

Look at some folks in Hollywood...some let themselves go and look bad, and then they hire a personal trainer to get in shape again for their next project, and they manage to look much better and younger and healthier within weeks.
Or Arnold Schwarzenegger...people laughed about him when he lloked fat and bloated and weak after his heart surgery and other surgeries in 2003 but then he got in shape again for Terminator 3. Or Stallone. Or Prince. Or Taimak, that dude from The Last Dragon...looks better today than he did 20 years ago.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

As soon as I turned 30 (last month), I felt like I was getting old. I immediately felt the circles under my eyes forming. I feel like I require more sleep than I ever did before.

I always thought Rose was the hottest Golden Girl. She just seemed more wholesome. That and her boobs were bigger. Blanche just seemed to try too hard and I was never a fan of sluts. And yes, Dorothy was fucking scary. I was watching an old episode of GG a couple years ago when my 10 year old nephew walked in the room. He asked me if Dorothy was a dude. lol

When I went to see Prince at the O2 in August, I stayed awake for two consecutive nights and really enjoyed myself, not feeling tired at all. The third day was hard though. But, in 1995, when I went to see him in Amsterdam and Den Bosch, I didn´t sleep for one night and felt whacked out...but my lifestyle was different back then.

Sometimes I like a quiet night in. A friend of mine found great relaxation in listening to a Fairground Attraction CD. Oh dear.

This is awesome.

I totally didn't read your stuff but

anyways

Yeah, I'm gonna be turning 29 in a few and I have signs.

Um, I totally have to EXCERCISE these days. Like, skinny is gone. I now have to WORK at it.

Ummmm.....I've been using this face cream called ULTIMATE, which is for like ppl in their 40s and shit, but HEY an ounce of prevention and all.....

I also have this new fascination with scarves and stuff. Like, I care about warmth and shit. Its so odd.

eek I was just pondering this thought when I was listening to the oldies station and knew all the songs.

I'll be 31 in March, I don't feel old but I think I'm more aware of things and I find I have different interests. That, and I'm turning into my mother lol I feel your pain...although it's really not too much pain.

But that´s pretty normal when you´ve had a little puff...just wait til the high is gone and you´ll be OK. Or drink some strong coffee, and a bit of freshly squeezed orange juice, the vitamin c will do you good.
It´s not really a longterm thing, you know. It also depends on whether your stuff is more like Carribean sensi stuff or that sativa eastern shit, because that can fuck up someones head real bad. lol

Ahhh, and lots of ginseng and lecithin. And omega 3 fatty acids. And walnuts are also good for your brain ( seriously now ). wink

Even though I'm going to be 41 in exactly 1 month. I feel perpetually 25.

One of the signs that I was getting old was getting excited over shopping for bathroom fixtures. boxed
